Now that is slick Bill.  What a great solution.  Clean, neat, and looks robust.  I don't have the PWR-56 (yet) so this isn't something I can use just yet.  I have the older PWR-75, which doesn't use a power brick, but will be adding the 56's when I get to the point of building a layout.

You're making me jealous with that laser.  It seems that any problem you have can be fixed by it.

Bill:

That is really, really cool.  I have a project that I'll need to contact you about.

Thanks for sharing.

Nice idea and you can find lots of similar items to hold odd shapes on Shapeways web sight that are 3D printed. That being said, in the Trade Show business we run into lots of these power supplies and power strips we need to mount and we use Velcro. I also have the PWR-75 and mine will sit on a shelf. Not trying to stir anything up, just making an observation. Now a laser cut box for waybills or a HC-2 fascia mount would be pretty cool.

Waybill boxes coming early next week.
HC2 holder? great idea. I'll get on that!

I made a fascia mount HC-2 holder out of wood, lined with material inside. What we really need is a belt clip holder. When you put it in your pocket the button inevitably gets pushed over and over again, keeping the screen backlight on.

I think a simple 'operators apron' is better suited than a pocket or belt clip. You can hold other stuff this way too.
