DCC Impluses MRH Oct 2017: Railpro
« on: September 28, 2017, 12:36:55 AM »
RailPro has featured in this coming months Model RailRoad Hobbyist. http://model-railroad-hobbyist.com/magazine/mrh2017-10/dcc-impulses .

Bruce finishes up his article by saying if folks are interested he'll look at spending more time with RailPro and write up his experiences in a future column. So, how can we help this along, or to put it bluntly, how can we make this happen. Any publicity RP gets is good and Bruce's column wouldn't be a bad place to get that publicity since he's admitted that he passed it off too quickly originally and he's writing good things about it.

I'm not a MRH subscriber so someone might like to keep an eye on the comments for the column too, no doubt that there'll be biased-against comments coming. Maybe also let Bruce know if he does spend more time with RP that this friendly group exists.

I head last week that this article was coming. I have to say I am impressed. Bruce has done an excellent job explaining the basics of how RailPro works and what makes it stand out from other control systems.

Thanks to Lee for introducing Bruce to RailPro - This article will be an outstanding, unbiased, resource to point people towards when they want to know more about RP.

If anybody is in interested, MRH is also interested in an updated REVIEW article detailing the new features. Perhaps a few members here would be interested in collaborating on such a project.

For me this article was good as I have been on the fence between RailPro and a DCC system.   When I get to the point where its time to wire and choose a control system I probably will go with RailPro.  I have been looking at the videos and stuff, but like the idea of not having a program track and it will be easy to remember all the ID's because they most likely will be the road number of the engine.
