Rapido FA Unit
« on: November 21, 2017, 09:17:33 PM »
I have recently bought a Rapido FA unit.  Taking off the shell I see the DC unit has a speaker already in it with two wires tracing back to the green board.  So if a put a 21 to 9 pin adapter and install the Railpro decoder will I get sound with the way the speaker is already wired.  Or will I have to take the two brown wires from the Railpro harness and solder them to the speaker.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Sound comes out of the 6 pin side of the LM. The 21 to 9 pin harness is for the other side of the LM. You will need to attach the brown wires to the speaker.
