New Speaker Availability

For you sound enthusiasts, PUI Audio has released a new collection of mobile device speaker assemblies: https://www.digikey.com/en/product-highlight/p/pui-audio/mobile-series-speakers-and-receivers

The AS01508MS-SP15-WP-R model looks especially promising as it has a frequency response of 500-20k Hz. 500Hz is not rock-the-house bass but not bad for such a tiny speaker. At only $3 it might be worth investigating.

I ordered three different kinds of speakers a while ago, and I know that I was looking at that specific one but can't remember if I ordered it or not.  I can't find my receipt, so I'll have to check the speaker itself to see if it has the model # stamped on it.

Two out of the three types I ordered have been less than spectacular.  I miss the old Fox Knowles speakers I used to use.
