HC-2b not powering up
« on: July 08, 2024, 02:26:53 PM »
While I'm SURE I've seen this mentioned on RPUG, for the life of me I can't find it. One of my HC-2bs (the backup, gets rarely used currently), won't power up, but will accept a charge.

It currently will display DONE and show a full battery icon, then flip to a full RED battery icon then turn off - this is all while plugged into the charger. As soon as I unplug the charger it shuts down and I can't get it wake up. I have tried the reset button on the back, but to no avail.

Any thoughts?

Thanks Bill. Now to hunt down the replacement batteries as the eBay link is no longer valid. Something for the weekend!
