I will have to download those and try them to, unless I missed one, I don't think Railpro offers the most common horn in North America, the K-5LA used by CSX, Amtrak and many others.  The horns that Railpro does seem to have a "darker" tone to them, probably flat instead of sharp.  The K-5LA that I need sounds like: http://www.dieselairhorns.com/sounds/AirchimeK5LA.mp3

He's been looking for a good recording of the K5LA for a long time.  I don't have one, otherwise I'd provide it.  If we can crowd source a decent recording then we'll be in business.  Anyone have one?  Or access to one?

I wonder if he could contact the webmaster of this website? http://www.dieselairhorns.com/sounds.html?album=5
He seems to have a "few" options!
I also found these:
http://atsf.railfan.net/airhorns/k5la.html

The Leslie 5 chime would also be very welcomed as these are on many former Chessie and Seaboard locomotives.

Now I do understand you're looking for a version that doesn't carry copyrights nor have ambient noises, but I don't have access to either, so just trying to help if I can.   What is involved in getting the horn recordings?  How do you do it?

I added the Wabco to my RS-2. It sounds great!

The K5HL-R2 (for all Gevo's) is golden.  There is absolutely no better recording/playback of this horn on the market.  Same goes for the K5LLA (70ACe's) and the K3HA.  So good!

Anyone know when Ring is going to have an EMD567 ULT?

Does he have a recording of one yet?  I know he has the old 567 file, but I'm not sure if that recording is good enough to be used for ULT.  I'm sure that's one of the sounds he's most eager to get out.  I could use it for sure.

I’m also looking forward to that file. That was a popular prime mover.

How about a nice Canadian K3LA horn? There is one user file version on here, with an excellent long blast, but I can't get the short blast to my liking. I've had Bill tweak the file for me, so it's good enough, but I'm always looking for a better one.

I'm going to delve into the world of Audacity this Xmas break, so perhaps I'll get lucky!

Just a little update here. I send Ring a K5LA horn file, (plus some others). He says it should make a good RailPro sound file. So keep an eye out for it.

Railpro completed the proper K5LA horn recording and uploaded it today.  This is the horn which CSX, Amtrak, and others use.  I'm very happy as it means we now have amazing sounding EMD and GE prime mover sounds and the proper CSX horn.  I'm looking forward to downloading it tonight and trying it out.
