Ok, I will give them a call. Per your email earlier this week I updated the program to rev 1.06.
As of this morning there has been no change to the HC. I'm assuming the battery will die soon, and maybe that will do something.

Also According to Ring, there is an urgent update, they say: Please update the program on HC-3's as soon as possible. Rev 1.06 or newer is an important update.

Has anyone had an instance where their HC freezes up while running a loco? I just had that happen to me on my HC-3 and I can't change screens or even turn it off.
I have already sent an email to Ring. I suppose I'll have to wait until next week for a response.
Anybody have this happen to them? Any suggestions?

Works good enough for me.

Do you have the LM close to the HC or the PC you are copying from?
Is everything up to date software wise?

RailPro Specific Help & Discussion / New prime mover won’t copy to engine

Brand new lm4sg board. I made room
By deleting prime mover and other files.
I’ve tried to copy over a new ult prime mover. It won’t copy. After attempting for a while it gives error message.
I then tried copying the same engine but in the older non ult. Same thing.
I’ve tried two different computers that I’ve used many times for this before.
I can get other sounds like horn or bell to copy.
Thoughts? My best guess is that the original file didn’t fully delete so there’s not room. I say that because the deletion happened pretty quickly.

« Last post by jebouck on March 23, 2024, 09:23:21 AM »For what it's worth, I have added the LGB electric sound module to two of my LGB Electric locos controlled with Railpro.
You don't get to ring the bell or toot a horn , (unless you use a track magnet and the LGB track pickup module that plugs into the sound module)
But you do have good rev up and running sounds.
You will have to adjust the speed setups, etc, with your controller to match.

I have many hobbies such as rollercoasters, backyard pond, collecting slot machines and arcade games and HO trains. I am building my first HO layout and will be using RailPro. Looking forward meeting new train friends.
